Perhaps the most prestigous Golf Club is the Singapore Island Country Club. Many prominent business men and Statesmen are members and it's exclusivity is the reason why this is one of the most sought after golf clubs. It is the second oldest club in Singapore and has 4 x 18 hole golf courses at two separate locations. Many major International Championships have been held here. The courses are matured and very maintained.
The busy CEOs and business men who are unable to play during the day, you can find them here way before sunrise at 6:30 am to put in a 9 hole game with their cronies and then have a leisurely breakfast before arriving at their office around 9:30 am. The first two holes are lighted just for theses early birds.
The Singapore Island Country Club offers two locations, each with its own different charm. Experience one of even both, the choice is up to you:

Facilities
The Singapore Island Country Club is a true experience for the whole family. Besides dad getting his round of golf to keep a smile on his face at any of the five challenging courses, mom can enjoy a game at the Jackpot Room or even catch the latest movie blockbuster at the theatrette, while the kids can have a splashing good time at the pools within both the Club’s Island and Bukit locations.
Bukit LocationGolf It is a golfers’ paradise at the Bukit Location. The club facility features the popular Bukit Course and the Sime Course, as well as the Driving Range and Practice/Putting Green to hone your golfing skills.
Bukit Driving RangeOpened in April 2000, the Bukit Driving Range (located at the Bukit Main Clubhouse) is surrounded by lush mature trees and consists of 60 bays, 30 of which are covered from the elements. It is also equipped with virtual bunkers and landing greens, and it sports a drainage system that prevents balls from getting plugged and the range flooded during and after a heavy downpour. .
Bukit CourseSICC’s championship 18-hole course has hosted many international events including the 1969 World Cup, the 1993 Johnny Walker Classic, Rolex Masters (1973 to 1998), at least 28 Singapore Opens (1962 to 1995) and the Inaugural Caltex Singapore Masters in 2001. With such pedigree, it is no wonder it is the most popular golf course in SICC.
Sime CourseLike its other course, Bukit Course, the Sime Course offers a scenic and serene view of the MacRitchie Reservoir. It has prompted many descriptions of it including – “reminiscent of the Thames (UK) in the summer” and it was once described as being like an English park, “thoughtfully planted with casuarinas, tembusu and other selected trees”.
Island LocationGolf Experience the tranquillity of nature with the backdrop of the nature reserve at any of the golf courses at Island Location. With three courses, including the remodelled New Course with state of the art drainage system and picturesque Island Course, as well as a driving range and practice/putting green, the club's Island golf facilities are ideal for private rounds of golf throughout the year
Island Driving RangeTake in the fresh air as well as the breathtaking natural setting of the New Course and the nature reserve in the background as you practice all parts of the game at the Island location's Driving Range. The Range is easily accessible from the Island Swimming and Bowling Complex.
Island CourseWeaving through old trees, the Island Course is both hilly and picturesque. It is the shortest 18-hole golf course, where both nines start and finish with very similar holes but Holes 9 and 18 are potential card wreakers as well, so beware! The course was originally designed by Peter Robinson and later rebunkered by five-time British Open champ Peter Thomson.
New CourseExperience the rainforest and challenge yourself on the Island's New Course. Considered the most challenging course at SICC, this course boasts natural terrain, wildlife and rainforest as it is carved out of a natural virgin jungle. Since the course opened in 1965, it has undergone further improvements including its holes being reorganized and new ones added so that both nines return to the Island
Millennium CourseTest your golfing skills and learn a tip or two on this executive course (9 holes) at the Island location that was designed by five-time British Open champion and one-time PGA Tour winner, Australia's Peter Thomson.
